About me

I'm Carlos Sánchez, a product builder based in Madrid with a background in design and engineering. I currently head the Product Team at Real Madrid, and before that I built and shipped products at startups across healthcare, logistics, fintech, and 3D on the web.

I've lived and worked in Spain, the United States, and Canada, and along the way I've been lucky to be part of super talented product teams in very different domains. From them I learned to build products that solve real user problems and move the business needle.

I have a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Málaga, and even though I've spent most of my career on the product and design side, my technical background has always allowed me to understand the technology beneath the UIs and to feel comfortable with code, the terminal, and git.

Outside of work, photography is my longest-running obsession. I've published two photography books about New York City. One of them was called "the ultimate guide to photograph NYC" by National Geographic.
