About me

I'm Carlos Sánchez, a product builder based in Madrid with a background in design and engineering. I currently lead the Product Team at Real Madrid. Before that, I built and launched products at startups across healthcare, logistics, fintech, and web-based 3D.

I've lived and worked in Spain, the United States, and Canada, and along the way I've been lucky to be part of exceptional product teams across very different domains. In each role, my focus has remained the same: identifying problems and opportunities worth tackling, finding lean ways to address them, and helping the business move forward.

I have a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Málaga. Although I've spent most of my career working in product and design, my technical background has always helped me understand the technology behind the UI and feel comfortable working with code, the terminal, and Git.

Outside of work, photography is my longest-running obsession. I've published two photography books about New York City, one of which National Geographic described as "the ultimate guide to photographing NYC."
